1. Position the cuff so that the lower edge is 0.8"-1.2" (2-3CM) from the arm.
2. Ensure the trachea is situated on the inner side of the arm, aligned with the middle finger.
3. Place the cuff on the arm at the same level as the heart.
4. Leave some space between the cuff and the arm, allowing for the insertion of one finger.

Precautions: Incorrect placement of the cuff may affect the accuracy of the measurement.

Tips: If the cuff is damaged, it should be replaced promptly. Additionally, the cuff should be replaced if the monitoring device displays an air leak message.

Cleaning and Disinfection: The cuff can be cleaned with a damp cloth and soapy water. It can also be disinfected by wiping with 70% ethanol.
